Undo Check-out (see also)
The Undo Check-out tool allows you to return a checked-out revision to its unlocked status without checking in a new revision. You might use this operation if you checked out a file accidentally, or if you discover that the changes you've made to a file aren't what you wanted and you have no desire to keep them.
To undo a check-out, simply click the Undo Check-out toolbar button. This brings up a dialog which by default will unlock your locked revision and replace your work file with the default revision.
Undo Check-out dialog
This is the dialog which appears when you click the Undo Check-out toolbar button.

You can alter the default settings on this dialog using the Undo Check-out tab of the User Preferences dialog.
You have four choices in the selection list:
Break all locks
Selecting this choice will cause QWin remove all locks on the selected file(s), regardless of who holds them. Use this option cautiously!!
Delete the work file
Selecting this choice will cause QWin to unlock your locked revision, and then delete the work file associated with that archive.
Just unlock the archive
Selecting this choice will cause QWin to unlock your locked revision. QWin won't do anything to the work file associated with the archive.
Restore work file from archive
This is the default choice. Selecting it will cause Qwin to unlock your locked revision, and replace your existing work file with the default revision in the archive.
