Introduction

Welcome to QVCS! If you're already familiar with version control systems, you'll find yourself right at home. To familiarize yourself with QVCS, you need only browse the QWin toolbar options and the Command Line reference for an understanding of QVCS command line utilities.

If you're new to QVCS, please take the time to work through the first tutorial completely before trying to store any project files with QVCS. If you anticipate a need for either branching or merging, you should also work through the second tutorial.

QWin3 provides virtually all the functionality of the QVCS command line utilities in a single Windows application. Working through the QWin tutorial will get you started.

You can also get help for many of the application dialogs by pressing the F1 key, or clicking on the dialog's help button. Most of the QWin3 help topics are linked in a browse sequence, so you can advance from topic to topic to find out what's there.
