Get Dialog
On the Admin→Preferences... dialog, you can use the Get Dialog tab to define the default settings for the Get files dialog.

The controls on this page correspond to the same controls that appear on the Get file dialog. Those check boxes that have three states mean "yes" (when checked), "no" (when clear), and "use the QVCS archive setting" (when in a greyed state). Setting them here will determine the default settings for the Get dialog controls when the Get dialog is displayed.
Each field has the following meaning:
Show Advanced
Enabling this check box will cause QWin to automatically expand the Advanced options which appear in the Get files dialog. Normally you must click on the Advanced >> button for these options to appear.
Expand Keywords
This corresponds to the "Expand Keywords" check box on the Get file dialog. Setting it here will define the default behavior for the Get operation. If this check box is enabled, QVCS will by default expand any keywords after performing a Get operation. If it is not enabled, QVCS will not expand these keywords.
Newer Revisions only
This corresponds to the "Newer revisions only" check box on the Get file dialog. Checking this will define the default behavior as fetching only those revisions which have a check-in date more recent than the timestamp on the associated work file. I.e., QVCS will get only the updates to work files that have changed since your last Get. If left unchecked, the default behavior will be to fetch all revisions, regardless of whether or not they are newer than the associated work files.
Make output writeable
This corresponds to the "Make output writeable" check box on the Get file dialog. Checking this will define the default behavior as making the work file writeable after performing a Get operation. If left unchecked, the default behavior will be to write-protect the work file after performing a Get.
Get all children (projects only)
This corresponds to the "Get all children" check box that appears on the Get file dialog when it is invoked on the project level. Checking this will define the default behavior as fetching all files in all subdirectories of the selected directory. Otherwise the default behavior will be to get only the files that exist in the specified directory.
The two drop-down selection menus also correspond to fields on the Get file dialog and will set the default selection on the dialog.
