User Preferences

User preferences are controlled using the Admin→Preferences... menu selection. As there are a large number of options that you can set, the dialogue has been split in to a set of functional groups, accessed by selecting one of the tabs.

Each tab controls the following settings:

General	Sets preferences concerning the general appearance and behavior of the application window.
Utilities	Sets the default programs for QWin to associate with.
Locations	Sets the default locations for files in a new project.
Get Dialog	Controls the default settings on the Get File dialog.
Check-out Dialog	Controls the default settings on the Check-out File dialog.
Check-In Dialog	Controls the default settings on the Check-in File dialog.
Undo check-out	Controls the default settings on the Undo Check-out dialog.
Lock Dialog	Controls the default settings on the Lock File dialog.
Label Dialog	Controls the default settings on the Label File dialog.
Define Triggers	Defines and enables any trigger programs QVCS should use before or after performing an operation. (QVCS-Pro only)
